Baker Beach at Sunset
I took this with a 4x5 wooden Large Format Camera. I then scanned it with a drum scanner to be converted digitally.
Such technologies are a thing of the past, usurped now with modern digital SLR. But, to this day, I've still yet to reproduce the same color fidelity with any DSLR.

Pretty amazing shot. I see so many photos of people trying to capture moving surf with DSLRs and they don't come out nearly as cleanly as this photo did and you were able to do it with film, on a camera that doesn't allow you to review the photo IMMEDIATELY after taking it. Bravo, keep up the good work!
Come to think of it, I probably took my first photo in a high school photography somewhere around 13 years ago. I finished that class and didn't pick up a camera again until April of 2016. After seeing how my photography has progressed in less than two years, I can't help but wonder where I would be now if I had never put that camera down... A lesson learned and a mistake I won't make again.
I wasted lots of film to get the point where I could get properly exposed shots. Now I can just point and shoot with the DSLR and it does all the calculations for me :) back then all manual.
Technology is an amazing thing! Haha.

Colors are really beautiful! Do you still use those technologies today?
Unfortunately this film would cost me $50 a shot all said and done :( it's not feasible to shoot anymore. I am all digital now.
oh I see. At least digital cameras have lots of other pluses
