You dream of seeing all those flashing banners disappear, those unwanted pop-ups or those ad blocks that invade so many sites and slow down reading.Two extensions will do you this favor: Adblock and Adblock Plus .

Adblock or Adblock Plus
Two tools are emerging in the race to block ads. These extensions, available for most browsers, are based on the same list of filters. The effectiveness of blocking is therefore similar for one or the other. But Adblock Plus goes further, as we will see later.

How it works?
Just like Adblock , Adblock Plus blocks by default all intrusive advertisements on the Internet : advertisements in videos on Youtube, advertisements on Facebook, banners, pop-ups, and much more.

All you have to do is install one or the other extension on your browser ( Firefox , Chrome , Opera , Safari and recently Internet Explorer), on your smartphone or tablet and all intrusive advertisements are automatically blocked on all the sites that you are visiting.

Each time a page is loaded, the extension consults its list of filters and blocks advertising images and animations downloaded with the page. This list of filters is refreshed and updated automatically and regularly.

Adblock analysis data show over 25 million users while Adblock Plus analysis data to have a base of 45 million active users. According to LeWeb'12, 6 to 7% of French internet users use Adblock Plus.

We are know it's very irritating when ads starting in between our work and it's is affecting our productivity. Sometimes I also use ads blocker when i am doing some serious work.

We have our right to block the ads which we don't want to see or the best part is that we can use a premium version so that ads are automatically block by the software and we can enjoy our work without any problem.
