Busy Looking At Prices
Two nights ago, I noticed that Busy was down for more than 10 minutes. When it came back, It became a lot more responsive than it had been in a while. It felt like the old Busy; snappy and responsive without logging me out every five minutes, or every time I refreshed. Transactions like upvoting, commenting and resteeming also appeared to have started behaving themselves again.
So I thought I'd give Busy.org another chance because, I love it really, and (even more importantly), gotta get that Busy.pay upvote yo!
Can you tell if the gentleman in the photo below is coming or going?
Many things in life are a matter of perspective, right? I was looking at the price of Steem this morning at 28 cents. The chart showed green! That's good right? Except yesterday it showed me the same price as red. Green or Red, coming or going, it all depends on who you are doesn't it?
If you're one of the good folks that came into Steem at 24 cents, you're over 10% up, beating every bank account on the planet. If you're me, well, hahaha you have my condolences :)
Peace and Love ✌🏿

If you are a Venezuelan like me ... you always love Steemit. :)
In spite of how red Steemit is, it is a great help in the crisis that my country is going through.
You know, this crisis in Venezuela really upsets me. Venezuela is one of my favourite countries in the world, even though I've never been there. I have many friends from there - such cool and beautiful people.
Can you tell me, how much Steem would you say someone needs per week to survive in this current time? Like say, a single guy, paying rent for 1 bedroom apartment, 3 meals a day and minimal bills (electricity, water, gas) . Thanks.
wao, live on steem, that bachelor would have to have a good support of whales hahaha, because everything depends on the price of the coin.
for example, last week the steem paid very well but this week went down, however to complement the salary you earn in a company is a great help.
I use it to buy food and pay for our daughter's school. The minimum monthly salary in Venezuela is 18,000 bs. (approximately 31 steem today) but with a minimum wage you only buy 1/2 kilo of meat 1 kilo of cheese (in a month), so all other products of the basic basket (rice, pasta, milk, eggs, etc.) would be missing. ..) services, transport etc.
But when you use as complemeto, I'm changing steem, when I need weekly, and I keep saving just in case there is an emergency ... that has happened to us, because with the salary there is nothing left to save.
In Venezuela everything changes in price from one day to the next, there is a lot of economic instability, so what today costs 100 Bs, tomorrow costs 300 Bs or more. You can also read an answer I did in a publication, but it's in Spanish. https://steemit.com/steem/@organduo/full-time-on-steem
I do not know if you understand everything, it's that I speak Spanish and I used the Google translator and sometimes it changes the meaning of the words.
Here you can see the exchange rates between steem / Bs. https://orinoco.io/#/
I love using busy.org for my blogging here on steemit because the layout is more user friendly and intuitive to use and also base on the free upvote you gets from using busy.org which is also great @adetorrent
I agree. The upvote is nice. I just hope they can sustain the model because they're not making any money on here apart from the reward pool.
“If you’re me, well, hah, you have my condolences “ perfect!! 👌🏻 Thats all of us oldies here haha! 🙈

Looking forward to Busy finally deploying the changes announced at Steem Fest as I have grown to enjoy their interface. I am happy that I barely look at price these days as my focus has been on earning as much as I could at these prices. The further reduce my cost basis, the sooner the breakeven for me will come (buying every month since Feb 2018)!

Yeeeaaaahhhhhh...I came in a just over 3 bucks and loaded up a bit. Been doing the same all the way down to where we are now. Hurts a bit...
To me I will say the man is coming . I am even tired of looking at the steem price everyday going up and down. I will wait till march before expecting any positivity on the steem
He is coming even though at a first glance I thought is going :)
