Guys, it's my first post on Steemit!!

Hey, guys.

So I've been looking at Steemit as an outsider for a long time now without actually getting involved but it always seemed fascinating to me, its construction, the idea, the way it works and here I am, finally, with an idea in mind and a passion for writing's about to be explored.

So let me introduce myself first.

My name is Adel, I'm 21 years old, a Lebanese fella living currently in bella Bologna, it's an Italian city located in Emili-Romagna (a northern-eastern region), you know, the city where the Lamborghini was born alongside your favorite dish of pasta di ragù alla bolognese. And yeah, the genius Guglielmo Marconi is from Bologna too. Anyway, I moved to this beautiful city for the university, engineering field. 

Long story short, it's an amazing experience with multiple ups and multiple downs but I'm thankful I'm able to live it nonetheless.

My passions however can be explained using 3 words (and is a word): writing and music.

Yes, I don't know how and when and why I developed this love for writing but yeah, I love writing poems, raps and everything in between especially when I'm a bit depressed, it's like a therapy that works instantly and magically, I believe that art is a cure for the damaged soul and regarding music, I'm not a musician unfortunately but I can spend the whole day headbanging and melting through countless melodies and compositions, my favorite bands to date are Opeth, Ne Obliviscaris, Iron Maiden, Paradise Lost, Porcupine Tree, etc. Yeah, most of them are kind of progressive/doom/death heavy metal stuffs but what can I say? I listen to anything but it's the genre I fell in love with the most, it just opens up horizons you can get lost in.

So my idea regarding what I'm going to write about on Steemit is the following: I love listening to music, analyze them, it's a passion, something I do for no cost and it's something I enjoy so I decided to dedicate my Steemit upcoming posts just giving my humble opinions about albums, bands, music in general, maybe doing lists and talk about topics that may interest me and hopefully, would interest you too.

So yeah, that's my introduction. I hope you enjoyed reading this and let this Steemit journey begin!!
