Actifit Daily #53: Additional Security Layer. Abuse Policy. Top 10 Actifitters.

This daily update represents a compilation of the recent news, updates and projections about our Actifit project, including top actifitters for the preceding voting cycle, as well as updates on our account and delegations !

Additional Security Layer

Today we implemented an additional security layer on top of our Actifit post creation mechanism, which will help further prevent potential abuse or gaming of the Actifit system using encrypted data. During the implementation today, we had a short downtime, particularly resulting from a bug that was pushed to the live environment. We were able to resolve this issue in a short period of time. The new system is fully restored and back to normal along with new functionality.

Abuse Policy

Couple of weeks back, we notified the community of some of the abusive behaviours that as Actifit we do not prefer to see under our posts, as they reflect a negative image of the users and the project.
We listed 2 essential items, being dummy content in posts, and plagiarized content.
Unfortunately we are still seeing some of the posts that fall under the first category, and hence sadly we are taking measures against those offending accounts.
Meaningless words or collections of letters reflect negatively on the wider Steemit community, and on our perception of the seriousness of the effort done relating to the post itself, which is why we are increasing our efforts to combat such reports.
Copied content from other users, or same content on a daily basis falls under the above classification, so please avoid that.
Unfortunately we are banning users who are constantly abusing above standards, particularly those who do not even respond to our moderator's feedback and requests for improving their post quality.
Also keep in mind that well-written, content-rich posts are eligible for receiving much higher upvotes and AFIT token rewards. We are daily rewarding such content, as we already have a lot of great authors, so this will hopefully be of further motivation for Actifitters to take the whole Actifit experience to the next level.

Top 10 Actifitters

Today we had a total of 181 reports with successful proof of activity which were rewarded and upvoted, out of which 135 reports reached the max 10,000 activity count or more.

The top position went to @vikasgoel1234 , who's been using actifit for 3 days now, reaching 33021 and is aiming for 50000 level :) !

Followed by @aninhasalegre, who had a trail in the woods, along with a run in nature, reaching 30290 activity count.

Delegations

We received some additional delegations today to our account, confirming our position of 109+K SP for our Actifit account. This was thanks to additional delegations from new or existing delegators, as follows:

Delegators share a max cap of 100K AFIT tokens according to their delegation amount, and also earn a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts' beneficiary earnings.

Since many ask, here we describe again an easy to calculated your AFIT tokens for a full day of delegations:
(Your Delegated SP) * 100,000 AFIT MAX / (Actifit Account Delegated SP - without account own SP and any delegators who opted out).
So for instance if you had delegated 100 SP, your daily earnings would be around:
100 * 100,000 / 108,000 = 92.59 AFITs

We are always appreciative of more delegations to be able to better award actifitters and support our project, so thank you for doing that !

When you want to increase delegation, you need to actually use the new total amount as the delegation amount, and not only the increased amount. Otherwise only the new amount will be used, and the remaining will be undelegated.
