A 10K Run against and with the Wind!

Running against the strong wind requires a lot of power, on the other hand the wind also drives you forward powerfully when it comes from behind.
I was able to experience both of these aspects sufficiently today at my 10 km run.
Since a few runs I have been training a breathing technique where I only breathe in and out through my nose. Up to a pulse of 160 I manage this quite well. But when my pulse reaches my limit (about 170) I need more oxygen and I only get it when I breathe through my mouth.
The purpose of the exercise is to increase my carbon dioxide tolerance and thus also bring more oxygen into my leg muscles. I must say it works.
I am not as tired as when I generally do mouth breathing.

Gegen den starken Wind zu laufen, kostet viel Kraft, auf der anderen Seite treibt der Wind einen auch kräftig an, wenn er von hinten kommt.
Beides durfte ich heute bei meinem 10 km zur Genüge erleben.
Seit einigen Läufen trainiere ich mir eine Atemtechnik an, bei der ich nur durch die Nase ein- und ausatme. Bis zu einem Puls von 160 schaffe ich das ganz gut. Wenn mein Puls allerdings an meine Grenzen geht (bei ca. 170) dann brauche ich mehr Sauerstoff und den bekomme ich nur, wenn ich Mundatmung mache.
Der Zweck der Übung ist, meine Kohlendioxidtoleranz zu erhöhen und bringe damit auch mehr Sauerstoff in meine Beinmuskulator. Ich muss sagen, es funktioniert.
Ich bin lange nicht so müde, als wenn ich generell Mundatmung mache.

Das mit den Wind ist eine ziemlich nervige Sache. 🙄 Musste vergangenen Sonntag 14 km gegen den Wind, der Mehraufwand treibt den Puls ganz schön in die Höhe.
Am Rückweg bin ich durch den Wald gelaufen, daher konnte ich den Rückenwind leider nicht recht gut ausnutzen. 😄
Die nächsten Tage sind leider wieder starke Winde angekündigt 😪🙈
