I like to have chili plants around me. I love the nice looking chili pods. When they are ripe, I pick them, a part is dried, the rest is used in my kitchen to give my dishes the necessary spiciness.
Around 15th of May I sowed a few chili seeds, whereby only one single seed sprouted. Maybe someone remembers my post? I took a picture of the first two leaves with drops of water on them.
Look how beautiful and big this plant is now! The pods are still very small. They start in violet and are supposed to turn bright red in autumn.
Ich habe sehr gerne Chili Pflanzen um mich herum. Ich liebe die hübsch anzusehenden Chili Schoten. Dann, wenn sie reif sind, pflücke ich sie, ein Teil wird getrocknet, der Rest findet Verwendung in meiner Küche um meinen Gerichten die nötige Schärfe zu geben.
Mitte Mai hab ich ein paar Chili-Samen ausgesät, wobei nur ein einziger Samen gekeimt hat. Vielleicht erinnert sich jemand daran? Ich hatte damals die ersten beiden Keimblätter mit einem Wassertropfen drauf fotografiert.
Seht, wie schön und groß nun diese Pflanze geworden ist! Noch sind die Schoten sehr klein. Sie beginnen in Violett und sollen dann im Herbst Knallrot werden.
