The Tollwood Winter Festival takes place every year at Christmas time. I took all the pictures yesterday. Since I only had my small pocket camera with me, they are not of very high quality, especially since it got dark very quickly. After all, I think I was able to capture the spiritof the event quite well.
There was a delicious winter gastronomy in organic quality and arts and crafts from all over the world to experience. If I would follow all the good smells and if I would have tasted a portion of them, then I would have to walk many, many kilometers to recover from these calories. I don't think that would have been a good idea. So I only allowed myself a delicious hot wine with cinnamon, cardamom and other exotic spices. If you are in Munich during the Christmas season, you should definitely visit this market.
I did no walking today. We had rain almost the entire day. That's why I did take a day off!
Das Tollwood Winterfestival findet jedes Jahr zur Weihnachtszeit statt. Alle Bilder habe ich gestern gemacht. Da ich nur meine kleine Pocket Kamera bei mir hatte, sind sie nicht von allzu großer Qualität, zumal es sehr schnell dunkel wurde. Immerhin glaube ich, dass ich die Stimmung ganz gut einfangen konnte.
Es gab winterliche Gastronomie in Bio-Qualität und Kunsthandwerk aus aller Welt zu erleben. Wenn ich all den guten Gerüchen gefolgt wäre und jeweils eine Portion davon gekostet hätte, dann müsste ich viele, viele Kilometer laufen um diese Kalorien wieder abzutrainieren. Ich glaube, das wäre keine gute Idee. So erlaubte ich mir nur einen leckeren Glühwein mit Zimt, Kardamon und anderen exotischen Gewürzen. Solltet ihr mal in der Weihnachtszeit in München sein, solltet ihr diesen Markt unbedingt besuchen.
Ich machte heute keinen Spaziergang. Es regnete fast den ganzen Tag. Ich gönnte mir einfach einen Ruhetag.
