My Actifit Report Card: 5 November 2018
Where do all these mosquitoes come from? The wind hurls masses of black dots at me, which get caught in my clothes. Fortunately I wear glasses, otherwise they would hit my eyes. Do these little drones think it's spring now? Autumn has only just begun!
It is very unpleasant to be helplessly at the mercy of these little beasts, but I have to get through it.
Otherweise it was a perfect chance for cycling on this November day. Unusual temperatures for this season of almost 20 degrees Celsius. It quickly got dark, but I stayed in the saddle and made a longer tour home. 42 km pure joy of cycling. What else can I say. No walking today!
Wo kommen all diese Mücken her? Der Fahrtwind schleudert mir massenweise schwarze Pünktchen entgegen, die sich in meiner Kleidung verfangen. Zum Glück trage ich eine Brille, sonst würden sie mir noch in die Augen fliegen. Glauben diese kleinen Drohnen eigentlich, dass es jetzt schon Frühling ist? Dabei hat der Herbst erst angefangen!
Es ist sehr unangenehm, wenn man diesen kleinen Biestern hilflos ausgeliefert ist, aber da muss ich durch.
Ein perfekter Radltag, den ich mir nicht entgehen lassen wollte. Ungewöhnliche Temperaturen für diese Jahreszeit von knapp 20 Grad. Schnell ist es dunkel geworden, doch ich bleibe im Sattel und mache einen größeren Umweg nach Hause. 42 km pure Freude am Radeln sind daraus geworden.

I’m a magnet for those blood suckers. My husband can stand next to me and not get a bite. They like me and it’s one attraction I can do without!! Lol
Glad you got a cycling day and nice effort hitting above 12k. It seems easy, but to do it day in day out is not. BTW: I really like how you organize your stats. Still looking on track to pull out the champagne for 2018! ;)
Those mosquitoes are sometimes really a nightmare. Especially when you try to fall asleep and then you hear this high vibrating sound near your head . . .
I figured out that approx. 8 km walking are 10K steps, but as you can see you have to cycle approx. 40 km to make approx. the same steps and it consumes more time.
