A little update on OCD+OCDB :)
Hey guys, wanna keep this post short and will decline rewards and give everyone and update some additions to OCD.
OCDB is now for unknown time forward following @curangel's downvotes as we feel their decentralized voting system for let's say taxing some posts more than the curve would.
About OCDB's curation, we are looking into more ways on how to help "decentralize" that, i.e. having more people in charge of what gets curated - but this does not mean that we will stop helping to make trending a bit more diverse on the daily.
We at OCD also feel that Discord and other chats have divided this community a bit too much (everyone and their cat have a discord server nowadays) and it's spreading the steem community a bit thin, more rivalry occurs and more unnecessary drama. In the near future we will be looking for communities that want to grow theirs in a way we deem to be fair according to our own standards. At the same time we will also offer curation to growing sub-communities we believe have a good shot at becoming big and bringing+keeping more users to Steem because of them.
Look forward to some new co-ops coming soon, or should I say it COCD, on second thought, let's not call it that.

akshually, ajusts glasses with greasy fingers you put 100% beneficiaries to steem.dao which is different from declining rewards. Declining rewards puts the amount back in the pool whereas here the money goes to steem.dao.
I am not sure how you feel about supporting @canna-curate but they have done wonders for well over a year on steem with bring and keeping cannabis members on steem
I know you haven't asked, but at this point I'd like to plant a seed and mention that a community working hard to connect Steem with the outside is @naturalmedicine. With people having their work deleted from outer social media they want their front end to be a place for them to come.

The Informationwar community has been around for 2 years now and we have some popular journalists and youtubers using our tag. An excellent post from lukewearechange where he snuck onto Epstein's Island was posted recently to steemit if you didn't see it.

He is one of the larger youtubers who actually links his Steemit in his Youtube description. I know some others were coming in for the threespeak video uploading too and some of them cross post to #informationwar too.
The alternative media is really gaining traction and many are seeing the censorship happening and the demonetizing really affecting their channel. Our curation trail helps give something back to those people. I think right now our curation trail following gives about 1.15 USD in a 100% upvote. If we had more curation power backing what we do, or if you had some of the OCDB curators going through and upvoting content you like in #informationwar that would really help bring more to the Steem platform who are getting deplatformed.
