City Smoke. CTA DRAWING
Passing by the buildings in Chicago while riding above ground on the train is a very beautiful experience. After 10 years of being here I should probably look out the windows just as much as I did when I first moved here.
City smoke is a 9x12" pen drawing. I'm sure surrealist painters had some sort of influence for this one. My favorite part is the bird sitting on the post.
Most people who have seen this piece try to find what the branches coming out of the head spell out... Is there something that it says? Or just a coincidence?
I'll let you decide.
This is such an awesome art piece. I think if you added a few progress pictures, the appreciation would be even greater. Great drawing!
Thanks! Yeah, You're right. I need to get better at taking progress pictures.
Hi @achristopherart. I do not think the branches are anything random. When I observe, it gives me the impression that it is about that mental drought that human beings of the new generations are experiencing. A drought that ends up deteriorating our entire world. The fibrolidad with which we see life today. Every time we are more aridos of emosiones.
That's great. I love your description.
From the title, I was expecting smoke rising off a city, but this fellow is smoking a city (building) ... that's really awesome XD
Love the weird hair trees and the ear door <3
