Brave all the way

You might have read recently about google tracking its users wherever they go and who knows in what other ways, Facebook selling the personal data from theirs to companies like Cambridge Analytica which was also a hot topic concerning our privacy on the web and it's not easy to just feel like a product sometimes. Or just a number that it's gonna get "some numbers" to different companies for "selling you". I haven't been concerned about privacy on internet too much I have to say, but lately I have been. Since I am "playing" with cryptocurrencies almost everyday and get to know more about them and how important privacy is and how easy these can be stolen and trespassed I kinda felt not confident anymore about google and also the browsers I used for this matter.

Thus I searched for alternatives. Browsers that might be better, faster and safer than what I got and I found one that is almost perfect. Its name is Brave and it is my one and only browser and bridge between me and the virtual world of tens of web pages that I access everyday on both my laptop and smartphone. At first I used it only on my smartphone because I thought it was the most vulnerable but then after seeing how effective and useful it is I installed it to my laptop also. It's been about a week since I am using it on my laptop and it has blocked 3900 trackers for me, 22,767 adds and saved me 23 minutes of bullshit that I might have had to accept from advertisers just to access the pages I wanted. Most of all of this 23 minutes of time saved might be adds from youtube. Yes, if you use Brave you are free from such annoying adds also. Moreover from what I understand the guys from Brave "have something to do" with Basic Attention Token also as you have a wallet for BAT and you can also earn BAT by watching some recommended commercials...

I know it sounds weird to mention about commercials after I praised Brave for blocking adds but if you want "free tokens" you have to sacrifice a bit of time and watch some adds. I am not interesting in such things so I have everything blocked. Seeing the numbers I mentioned above I was amazed how hard are we being tracked by all sort of companies and how much we have became products rather than humans with rights and freedom and especially the right for privacy.
