Now is semester break from classes at Singapore Polytechnic. Taking some time to read some other things to get a bit distraction break. So, I went to the library middle of last week and pick this book and finished it by Saturday. 😎

Has anyone read any of the books in the series? When I first started the first book few years ago, I thought it will be made into a movie someday but after the last book, I’m not too sure.

The story is about a bunch of kids many of whom were created accidentally with different electric powers. Other than, the super powered kids, there are another two interesting normal kind people which I sense were one for the brain and one for the muscle. So, overall, still bit sort of X-men kind of thing but the some kids ended up with the good guys and some ended with the bad guys.

Of course, they end up battling each other fighting with the powers. The first few was quite exciting but I felt the last book missing something.

Much of the last book revolves around not so much on the kids (which is referred to as the Electroclan) and I guess that lost a bit of flair to me. The main character Michael Vey also didn’t have much exposure in the last book.

Overall, there was still happy ending but if this were to be made into a movie, I think the ending will seem kind of rush. Still… I’m glad to have finished reading the series though it’s not something I’ll re-read by hey… Amazon has all the books in the series above 4 stars. 😎 If you need a bit of distraction, you can try to read this or perhaps you are trying to get some kids to read something, I think this can be it.
