10 Gorgeous Lavender Fields around the World + Where to find them #Travel inspiration series
The first time I saw a picture of lavender fields was a couple of years ago, it just seem like unreal to me. And later I find out that it’s located in Provence region, France.Ever since then, I have been dreaming to visit one of this place.
Having lived in tropical country, I have not experienced spring blossoms or field of flowers yet. Since these kinds of flowers are such a seasonal fields ( if you go the wrong season , you probably end up seeing nothing). And going to France is not always easy for everyone, both time and money.
So I have researched the places around the world that has the stunning lavender fields. You will never know , one of these places is near your home city..
(1)Largest Lavender Fields in the World, Bulgaria
Surprise, surprise The top producer of lavender oil in the world is now Bulgaria, not France or China . So there are a lot of lavender fields around the country .

July is usually the best time to visit. In the Luberon and the Rhone Valley regions, lavender begins to bloom mid-June. The Valensole plateau and Drome Provencal begins around the beginning of July. And the area of Sault begins blooming mid-July.

The name of the place is called Bridestowe Lavender Estate and it is 45 minutes from Launceston in a small town called Nabowla.
Best time to visit?
Best time to see is from between December 1st and January 31st depending on weather.

From central London, the best way to get to the lavender field is to get a train from London Bridge to Purley, then take bus 166 all the way to Oaks Park
Best time to visit?
The peak flowering time is from the end of June to the start of September.

Aah, I missed those when I was in Tassie. Did see them all over the place around Franschhoek in the Cape though 👍🏻
argh, I wanna go Tasmania too. Yes I have read, there seems to be some lavender field in Cape town , hence one location is in this post.
Tasmania is also real pretty!! A lot of poppy fields around too - can't access those though 😳

hello! yes that's one of the reasons that I am doing this series. Many might think it's easy to get it from internet, but in fact its more time consuming than writing orginal content on my own. But I love doing these, as I can learn more about other countries and which become to be a place I visit in months time. Manifesting works!
