Cartoonish Character Illustrations base on zodiac sign

Hi everybody, I come back with some of my interesting and filosofical post. In this new post I would like to show you some illustrations I made for Juanita Incoronato book. Juanita is a writer that had made the book called "Walking with the Moon: THE MOON AND THE EMOTIONS, A practical method of emotional evaluation."

I just only illustrated one chapter into this book that explain emotional aspect of each children base on zodiac sign. I would like to show you each sign and conceptual process to créate this illustrations.

Capricorn children are really Competitive, they want to be at the top of any activity. They have an incredible energy to reach any personal goal.

Aquarius children have an hyperactive personality. Generally they can not be quiet and are really nervous.

Pisces children generally are dreamer. They have an incredible imaginations to créate a personal world and fantastic personal reality. They have huge sensibility that makes them to understand and see the wold with magic eye.

Aries children have a incredible energy. Generally they like to practice strong activities where the physical aspect is the base. Sometimes they can be rude and effusive.

The simbol of Taurus is the earth. Taurus childrem like to eat well and like emotional and afective stability with their parents. They have a incredible apetitive and likes to explore the world with the senses.

Gemini children are really communication and intellectual. At an early age the can discover the love for the books and reading. They can be extremely friendly.

Cancer children are incredible emotional sensitive. They like the family and the emotional stability.

Leo children are the Kings of the family. Generally they are really creative and have a natural sense of competition

Virgo children are obsessed with the routines. They like to be useful at any activity and have a Sharp-eye (they can observe any details of environment).

Libra children have an incredible sense of beauty and aesthetic sensibility. They like the harmony, colors and soft sounds.

Scorpion children have a sense o interested about the death and life as a concept and also have a develop state of intuition that allow to understand and predict many aspect of daily life. They can have a strange likes.

Sagittarius children are funny with great sense of humor. They like the jokes and have an incredible sense of freedom. They are really positive.

Make this project was incredible fun. I like the astrology and how the theorist aspect match with the reality. Obvious it is not an exact science and I understand that is just an a tool to understand better the inside aspect human beign.

This project was done wih Adobe Photoshop. The first sketches was manual and be rendering at the final step of illustrations process.
