Daily Celestial Challenge- sunday : light
Today's topic: Refelect the light of God.
One of the problems of many Christians is that they have a hardened heart and have lost their sensitivity for souls. One of the most regrettable things is that there are people who do not let a single word out of their mouth to speak of the Lord to others. If you are here today, it is because someone took your effort to speak to you about the Lord and sow a Word in your life. The least you should do is reciprocate others with that same grace that you received from someone. The Lord said: I will bless you, and you will be a blessing; you can not live wanting to be blessed, and not put yourself in the position of serving something and blessing others with what you received by grace.
"This is the message we have heard from him, and we announce to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and we do not practice the truth; but if we walk in light, as he is in light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. "1 John 1: 5: 10
This portion shows us that God is light, and shows us that we have been called to walk in the light. Science explains light as electromagnetic waves, which is distinguished, among other things, by its speed. The light moves with a rapidity that humans can not assimilate. Light travels through all radio waves, micro waves. Light does not distinguish between other waves, just as God does not distinguish person. This teaches us that God can work both on those who are on the right wave, and on those who are on the wrong wave.
Light has the quality to reflect only when it meets a surface. You are the surface on which the light has to stop so that it can be reflected and seen. God, being omnipresent and omniscient, created you so that you could reflect his light, and all the qualities of himself. Something that contains good things is missing; you are that surface on which the light of God is going to reflect.
You have to learn the power of compassion, because our God wants the best for all of his children, he wants all of them to be prosperous and to none sick. God needs you to be the recipient of his light, so that you can teach others the wonderful Lord you serve him. Pray every day to God, telling him to bless you so he can bless others, give him the opportunity to raise the fallen. God wants to remind you that you have been called to reflect your light; you are the surface on which the love and mercy of God will be reflected.
The light does not reflect on any type of surface, it has to be opaque and able to receive that light. There are translucent surfaces, through which light passes, but it is not reflected. There are other transparent surfaces, by which the light passes without any difficulty, but neither reflects. Do not be a person through whom light passes and is not reflected. Wherever you go, that people, just by looking at you, see that there is something different in you.
These verses teach us to practice the truth, not only do we have to reflect the light of God. The truth speaks about authenticity and truthfulness of the things that are true. The Bible tells us a lot about the truth; for example, it tells us that God is the Father of truth, tells us that Jesus was full of the truth of God, and tells us that Jesus himself is the truth. God asks us to live in the truth, and this is absolute. There are no objective truths, nor universal, relative or pragmatic. There must come a moment in your life where you can recognize those things that are true.
The truth is objective and can not be decorated with your intentions. If you did wrong, it is your responsibility, and you have to learn to live in the truth. Many times, people use half-truths to excuse their intentions and thoughts. We also repeat lies that others have said as if they were true. You have to learn to ensure that, from your lips, only the truth comes out; If you do not know about something, do not say it as if you knew.
God is light and is true; He has called you to reflect his light on everyone around you. Change your style of speaking and project, learn to say and live the truth. Be you, today, that surface in which the light of God is reflected, so that it may shine on all. When children tell the truth, we reward them; likewise, your Heavenly Father rewards you when you live in his light and truth. When you understand these things, God takes your life to another level.

It is Jehovah who shines our darkness, beautiful reflection, we must be an example and reflect the light of God. Jesus also declares that we are the light of the world! He encourages us to let our light, our good works, shine before others so that they may glorify our Father in heaven.

It is our duty to shine so that all men may see the Glory of Christ! .. Be a positive influence to those around you! Be like a light in the dark, offering encouragement and hope!
God is light. There's no atom of darkness in him. This also implies that a man in Christ is light! There's no atom of darkness in that such man. We need to re-examine ourselves constantly to ascertain if we are in the light (God).

As children of God we should shine without hesitation. We should know he has given us the strength to yield his light on us. We are light of the world.
