For Her, the Sun

Hello again, everyone

Today I decided to post a poem that I wrote called ‘For Her, the Sun’. I got inspired to wrote this piece from taking a photo of sunset that I also post here. I tend to deliver this poem as an expression of gratefulness towards the Sun which I personified as a woman, or maybe it can be reimagined vice versa, a woman pictured as the sun. And please let me apologize if I had already post this picture before, and for my imperfectness in language, and literature.

For Her, the Sun

When the Sun descents her cape
Who am I to stays in shape
For I'm merely mundane
To her the ethereal reign

As the bright light goes vile
She glances her last smile
Untroubled, her fond cadence
Pure, her benevolence

Wind whistling their call
Shadows rose the crawl
Fulfill the abyss
With glorious piece

Benevolent peace
Rose among the bliss
Abide the reverie
Reach, never I flee
