Beauty of Nature : Siratro | 10% Beneficiary to shy-fox
It's great to be back in the wood, a place where I used to spend time searching for beautiful pieces of nature. So, for today's post, I am gladly coming up with some pictures of tropical wildflower that grows in the wood, in the bush. It's Macroptilium atropurpureum, simply called Siratro, a perennial herb with deep, swollen taproot and trailing, climbing, and twining stems.
I don't have any idea who calls this flower with a beautiful name, anyway, sounds good to me. It is a flowering flower that is usually seen growing on the lawn or bush. Siratro thrives in somewhat drier conditions than its close relative.
Somehow, this typical flower is also cultivated for medicinal purposes but I found it growing in the wild which no need special care, as long as soils are well-drained that serves as a larval host to various skipper butterflies but I saw no butterfly hanging there at that time or they have already gone soon they noticed me coming.
