TEMCO : Supply Chain Management

Several decades have experienced such tremendous development, the level of consumer expectations has increased along with the increase in national income. This makes its own progress and is very positive. In addition to the positive impact, there are also many negative impacts, such as the chain of relations between producers and consumers, which has a chaos caused by lack of infrastructure and investment. This causes consumer confidence in the marketed products to be very low. Even though there have been many large companies that are managing in this field they have only developed their own systems, and this has made their flexibility low and certainly cannot cover it all.

On the other hand, small and developing companies have difficulties in doing development because of lack of funds and the ability to develop themselves. In addition, the issue of technology is also a matter that is still basic so that it cannot compete with developing industries. In the management of goods in this distribution chain, small entrepreneurs tend to only provide management and this will be difficult to secure the credibility of products from small entrepreneurs to consumers. Therefore solving this problem is being developed by Temco with a smart blockchain etherium based contract. With Temco, it is certain that problems exist in the small business production chain until consumers will be able to compete with large companies.

TEMCO will also take advantage of private blockchain benefits. The secret of information that cannot be disclosed can be managed without being exposed to the platform. The TEMCO team will also build applications and consumer platforms for large data analytics. This application will increase consumer confidence in the product by providing real-time supply chain information from beginning to end. It's a platform for large data analytics based on data collected in the blockchain that will enable SMEs to develop low-cost supply chain infrastructure and to gain business insights. As mentioned earlier, the existing supply chain management system does not satisfy consumers who demand reliability, especially because of the fact that consumers do not have direct access to reliable information, but receive information verified by third parties only indirectly.

The TEMCO project aims to ensure accurate supply chain information is contained in the blockchain when a product is transferred via a Smart Contract. It connects producers, warehouses, transportation companies, distributors, and end consumers, enabling supply chain information
to be shared in real time. As a data and information-based supply chain solution, TEMCO project seeks to achieve high connectivity between users, supply chain information reliability, supply chain transparency and stability of information, high efficiency

TEMCO technology itself will focus on achieving the objectives of their projects. Temco developed their technology in the TEMCO Technical Structure which will consist of 4 levels, namely

  • Uploading data on the blockchain from the back-end layer will be referred to as
    "Core" level.
  • Retrieving data on the blockchain through the core level and accessing it in the form of an API from the middle layer will be called a "service" level.
  • Displaying data at the UI level will be referred to as the "application" level.
    The back-end will consist of the blockchain, big data, and engine analytics. Frontend consists of web, cellular applications, and BI Tools. The back-end will be developed with JAVA and Spring Framework, and the service level implements the API Swagger Framework. The REST API provided by Swagger returns data in JSON format and can be used both on the web and mobile applications. The front-end GUI will be built with Typed Script, which supports object-oriented programming, and AngularJS
  • Web. The web is used to interact with SSR nodes and is used to store or retrieve data by calling the Solidity code, which is a programming language for Smart Contracts placed in SSR Virtual Machines (RVM).

The operating system from Temco that is being designed has the advantage that they use the Core Level Blockchain, a data storage technology for cryptocurrency systems that is almost impossible to hack or manipulate. Because of its characteristics (P2P, Hashing, PoW), the blockchain is suitable for implementation in many industries and systems such as authentication, finance, asset trading, and IoT. TEMCO will use proof of work (POW), POW is not a new idea, but this way and other existing concepts - cryptographic signatures, Merkle chains, and P2P networks - to a decent distributed consensus system.

TEMCO Information Security uses a fairly good technology like

  • HTTPS Protocol: The browser requests or uploads data to a web server through both HTTP or HTTPS Protocols. TEMCO will be used HTTPS unit.
