FREE 3D SOFTWARE & MAKING A DTUBE DAILY LOGO
So I made a logo today on a free program called Blender. I have been using this program a little bit over the past few years but it is always a challenge!
You can search on YouTube for Blender Foundation Short Films, they have quite a few and they are really great pieces of 3D animation.
Here is the logo I created today:

Kewl! My first exposure to 3D software was Autocad, followed by a few years spent with Solidworks. The learning curve is really steep because you have to think about what you want to create and define a space for it to exist in, unlike a 2D drawing program where you can start with a line and zoom in or out as needed. The time spent learning something like Blender is well worth it and the fact that it is free to use reinforces that; they can't take your skills once acquired by denying you access to the program as is the case with other software when the license runs out. Keep at it!
