#3: Keep a check on her wellbeing.

in #37 years ago

Being a husband, it is your moral responsibility to make sure your wife is mentally and physically fit. She is your partner and you owe her care and attention, just like she owes you.

Always make sure that your lady is calm and has peace of mind. Listen to her when she talks, and try your level best to understand her. If you cannot, carry on with the conversation until you reach a mutual agreement. Show her that you care and do your utmost to ensure she is happy and content with her life. Encourage her and support her choices and decisions. In this way, you will be doing wonders for yourself and your relationship.IMG_20171005_123844_054.JPG

I agree with you. The strongest relationship is built through communication which relates to listening, understanding and talking sense to each other. When tempers flare you take a breather as most often raised voices towards each other can lead your relationship into a destructive path.

Being a husband, it is your moral responsibility to make sure your wife is mentally and physically fit.

That's impossible to do. Even your own health is beyond your own control to a significant degree. It is your wife's responsibility to maintain her own health by following healthy habits. You can't do that for her and if you try to control her, you are likely to come off as a micromanaging jerk.

Always make sure that your lady is calm and has peace of mind.

Another absurd requirement likely to result in irritation and discord if attempted to fulfill.

Listen to her when she talks, and try your level best to understand her. If you cannot, carry on with the conversation until you reach a mutual agreement.

It's definitely important to listen to your partner. But you should not press for an agreement. Sometimes the best you can do is to agree to disagree.

Show her that you care and do your utmost to ensure she is happy and content with her life.

Showing that you care is a good idea but you're not responsible for her happiness, or anybody else's for that matter. Happiness is mostly an innate quality depending on your life history, mental health and habits, and heritable factors. Trying to cater to your wife's every little whim is a path to an unbalanced and unhappy relationship for your both.

Encourage her and support her choices and decisions. In this way, you will be doing wonders for yourself and your relationship.

If you agree those choices and decisions are good for her and your relationship, yes.

To love is to have someone special one who you can always depend to be there through the years sharing laughter and tears as a partner, a lover, a friend.

If we have that in our subconscious minds everything will work out well for us in our different relationships.
