Can you even begin to try and guess at what the next 12 months has in store for us?

I think that we have all become so accustomed to the intense and unrelenting roller coaster ride that is crypto and the unbelievably changeable field that we inhabit when we join the blockchain...

Although in many ways I think the recent bearish tendencies of the market as a whole has been the very thing that has taken many by surprise. For many of us it was the first time we had ever viewed a market chart that was flat. There had become such a trepidation tinged with elation when we looked at the market each day, was it up or down? This question always seemed to be followed by the inevitability of the result being all black or all white. These gray areas have gotten many people rattled as 2018 has trundled on.

It didn't matter if (like me) you didn't actively check a chart each day, if you engaged with others on the blockchain or chat with people on Discord, the numbers were (and are) always there to see front and centre.

Do you ever wonder how many of our number succumbed to the FUD as the mass hysteria of 2018 ratcheted to almost fever-pitch? I do. I reckon we lost an immense number of brilliant people and some very talented writers thinkers and imagineers who simply couldn't wrap their heads around the uncertainty.

The real tragic irony of this in my opinion is that this is exactly the place that could have taught them how to deal with the real uncertainty and changeability they are going to face in the coming years, have you looked at the world of late??? For much of the world, and all of it eventually wholesale change is going to be the order of the day.

I think we are witnessing a microcosm of the future of this quirky little blue/green orb we call home. We must learn to be adaptive and resilient to flourish and dare I say prosper in the new world. Have you looked at what is happening in France recently? No No No...I don't mean switched on your TV news, I mean really looked at what is going on there.

I have spoken with several British expatriates who now live in France, this led me to speak with some French people whom I have known for some time on the blockchain and they paint an incredibly different picture to the one I see on my news and have shared some facts and reports from the places they live that are in truth a little bit scary for the masses. But this is most likely for an upcoming post.

One thing is certain that life on the blockchain just like our real lives away from here will herald great highs and also some lows too, (hopefully far fewer of those of course).
