I hope you are enjoying all this, if you should be new to this channel, I actually write about veganism, bodybuilding, psychedelic plant based medicines, spirituality and meditations. Today we are going to be talking about bodybuilding. I will be talking about my personal 8 weeks transformation. If you haven't seen my previous article on similar subject, check somewhere on this my channel and you will find it. I wish to talk about one specific subject of my 8 weeks transformation and I want to make it into a series of articles. In every single aspect of the articles, I will explain one part of the dieting process so that you guys can emulate my personal results. One thing right off the bat, I say mimic my personal result, because we all have been different body. If somebody tells you to do exactly what I used to do and that you can look the same and get exactly the same result, they are obviously telling you a bunch of lies. Perhaps, by chance, you're already far more shredded to me or perhaps you begin the cut with additional unwanted fat, which means diet plan will require much longer time or quicker. Today I want to talk about the macros that are needed for a successful cut. Most of you guys ask me if it’s enough to be in caloric deficit to lose weight. The quick answer is yes. However the question that occurs is really what type of weight, if you eat in a caloric deficit. You however will eventually lose unwanted fat as you're consuming fewer calories than it demands to sustain your current body weight. That being said, you can be successful and lose weight with any type of diet plan. We have witnessed individuals who lost weight with their Twinkies diet; you'll find individuals who have shed pounds on a McDonald's diet plan. If you require 2,000 calories every single day and you take in three cheeseburgers every single day will lose weight. The question however becomes, what kind of weight, are you currently losing because it is quite easy to shed water fat. It is also quite easy to lose your own muscle tissue but what we wish to target in a successful cut in a successful definition phase, is however unwanted body fat. What we want to achieve is to burn through the unwanted body fat and hold onto the maximum amount of lean body muscle mass as possible, this is where macros come to play. If you have not heard about macros, this means macronutrients that your body needs. You have protein which is important, you have carbohydrates and you also have fats. I talked about this before, carbohydrates and fats are energy sources. They supply you with the vitality that you'll require for the daily exercise routines. However, the healthy proteins are the foundations building blocks, you need them for muscle tissue, and you also need them for all types of tissues within your body. Plus you need them for your hair growth, for your bones etc. I will like to give you an example of carbohydrate and fats being builders, being construction workers and the building blocks proteins being the bricks. You need enough bricks to build a house. If you don’t have bricks, you can have as many workers as you like but they won’t build the house. This is crucial because it is where most people fail especially vegans with their high carb diets, fruits only diets. With those types of diets, you only ingest energy. If you eat in a caloric deficit, you will still be able to lose weight but because you are not ingesting any dietary proteins, your body will use the energy of the carbohydrates that you ingested. Because of this, you will not burn off body fats but it will burn through its own proteins. This because it is not getting any proteins from a food sources and where do you find proteins in the body? Of course it is in the muscles and this why most vegans look skinny. This typical vegan skinny fat look comes from ingesting carbohydrates, ingesting energy and not ingesting proteins. So your body clings to its own body fat reserves and gets rid of its own protein source from the muscle first. This is the dangers in those high carbohydrates diet.
