WHAT SUCCESS IS NOT
Success is not a display of material wealth and fancy possessions with intention to oppress others by feeling self important. Any success that does not inspire others positively to rise from mediocrity and complacency to set new attainable standard in improving themselves is failure.
In the twenty first century where everything is fast because of the advancement in technology, most especially the revolution in the way we receive information instantly, by the advent of the internet, we are pushed to a position where everybody is looking for quick fixes. Mostly success is seen as a quick fix!
But success is not an event, it is a process, which means it does not happen overnight, it must take time. If we ask any person who has succeeded in his field of endeavor, we will probably find out that he is reaping a reward of efforts he has sown in the last ten or even twenty years.
Success that happen overnight should trigger our suspicion because success is no magic, there are no shortcuts to success. But if you cultivate a positive attitude, set goals, become diligent in what you do, discipline yourself and refuse to give up, success is inevitable!
