The Clouds that Danced like Sleeping Koalas A Short Story by thehway

in #-p7 years ago

Tony Blunder had always loved urban San Francisco with its unlucky, unlawful umbrellas. It was a place where he felt active.

He was a brutal, intuitive, wine drinker with fragile eyebrows and greasy spots. His friends saw him as a puny, pong patient. Once, he had even saved a giant baby flamingo that was stuck in a drain. That's the sort of man he was.

Tony walked over to the window and reflected on his grey surroundings. The clouds danced like sleeping koalas.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Alison Gump. Alison was a clumsy bear with charming eyebrows and curvaceous spots.

Tony gulped. He was not prepared for Alison.

As Tony stepped outside and Alison came closer, he could see the great glint in her eye.

"I am here because I want a kiss," Alison bellowed, in an adorable tone. She slammed her fist against Tony's chest, with the force of 4167 mice. "I frigging love you, Tony Blunder."

Tony looked back, even more anxious and still fingering the cursed map. "Alison, what's up Doc," he replied.

They looked at each other with jumpy feelings, like two poised, pretty puppies boating at a very cowardly wedding, which had classical music playing in the background and two tactless uncles jumping to the beat.

Tony regarded Alison's charming eyebrows and curvaceous spots. He held out his hand. "Let's not fight," he whispered, gently.

"Hmph," pondered Alison.

"Please?" begged Tony with puppy dog eyes.

Alison looked confident, her body blushing like a kind, kaleidoscopic kettle.

Then Alison came inside for a nice glass of wine.
