Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, disappointing but much better compared to the previous night. And at least there was no issue again with excessing my work schedule for the next shift as the previous night the system just kept giving me login issues. While that particular problem as been very rare it's still annoying just how often their system goes down in general and yet we are suppose to use it for all our needs. I was actually amazed the system was down for the entire night, I guess those IT guys just don't care and assume everybody is sleeping at that time. When I did go to rest it took me a little longer to fall asleep, this was because of the cold but I think more likely because my mind was busy and possibly I myself was over-tired due to the previous late night. I was worried this morning it would be a little difficult to get out of bed, I woke-up only for my scheduled alarm which was great meaning I should of got almost the optimal sleep time. However the alarm was set later than the time I would like to get up for to start the day. I rested past my scheduled alarm but not by much as I know I must rest to keep that horrible flu from coming back. The good thing about today and why it seemed logical to do so was because I didn't have work and so going past my alarm was not a big issue. The weather this morning was actually mostly bright as we continue on from yesterday with plenty of bright sunshine and a blue sky, it looks like it's going to be a nice one today possibly even warm like yesterday. Still lucky for me with such a late start I didn't have work to get in for and like this I still wanted to get done some basic chores and also I had plans to meet with friends later after they finish work. Today was also my sisters birthday, since she was going to work later in the day I had to go and give her a gift in the morning. On my return I was then free to get on with chores, I'm not sure what happened today but I'm normally able to get a few other things done before I go to see my friends but when I was done with the basics I had such little time left that it was pointless of me trying to do anything else. I done what I could before leaving and while I wish it was more I guess it was enough. I left actually late.. well either that or my friends got out of work a little earlier, which I'm sure was the case. As they were phoning and telling me they were already on the way before I even left home. This wasn't a problem at all as they arrived at the meeting spot just seconds before I did. Yes when I left to no surprise the weather remained nice to the point that I was feeling a little warm on the way. With friends we talked about a lot of stuff but mainly enjoyed our conversation on the event coming up as I updated them on peoples situations. While we had our discussions work started texting me saying I would need to stay longer tomorrow which shouldn't be a problem for me. I left earlier than usual which was great as it gave me more time to fit in a few more things before finishing the day, not only that but I have a big shift now tomorrow and would like some decent rest. On the way home I was not surprised by the slight chill still in the air and so was glad I still had long sleeves and a fleece on. But I did think there were going to be a lot more people out, I guess I'm lucky it wasn't the weekend and so it remained quiet out. However there was a guy who wasn't happy as he's quad bike stopped working for whatever reason, I just wish the idiot was not blocking up all the pavement with he's junk. I'm sorry but it's a residential area, it's not a place for idiots to be quad biking. From the continued news it seems our so called leaders seem determined to give war a chance, all I can say is it's pretty obvious to me that their thirst for conflict endangers us all. On Steemit.com I'm very glad to still see it working as it should, work on updating the look of the Steemit.com interface continues on for something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic and Alpha testing can be trialled. Today's Picture

As for the picture today I share some flower photography, a quick disclaimer I understand that this type of photography on Steemit has a bit of a bad reputation. This is because it was often used by spammers to make like 8 posts each day.
Hopefully as you can see from my blog I'm nowhere near making 8 or more posts per day on the subject of flowers.

I believe this was captured on the way to work near the super market as the weather was getting better, the main focus here is the Pink Ballerina Heesterrozen, can I call it Pink? I get confused because even the ones that are called red look pink, however I feel if we compare this one it does seem more pink in colour. This can be compared on the same image as on the top right side we can see a Red Ballerina Heesterrozen. To add to the confusion the main centre flower underneath the petals look more purple than pink. I know I have made a big mistake here capturing and focusing better on the background rather than our main flower oops. Regardless I feel that in this case we are seeing a pink flower stretching out to purple.

We also have a lot of the unknown's here like the leaves and there are those plants here again with those grey in colour like buds. There could be another Knock-out rose as they seem to be in the area. Unfortunately since we already know this is a pink like Ballerina Heesterrozen there will be no upvote for guessing it's name, however below is a photo with it's focus this time solely on a white flower. Well actually it isn't fully white as it's got this slight tint of pink especially more towards it's petal edges, but I don't know what they are called.
