Walking around the Wall street area, I came across this view of the One Wall Street Building, and to me initially I thought it had a similar style to the flat Iron Building, which you can see in this post
But then I realized the similarity is really just the triangular shape and not to much else
1 Wall Street which has had a few names ( the Irving trust company building, Bank of New York Building and now known as the BNY Mellon Building ) is an art-deco Style skyscraper.
Construction on the building began in 1929 and was completed in 1931.
Although some of the modern buildings are eye catching I personally believe the style and class of these older buildings is hard to beat

Braver man than me. I'm terrified to go to NYC. Pretty sure that if there ever was a "Zombie Apocalypse" it would start if I ever entered into the city... For everyone's sake I avoid it. :)
LOL, I Was dragged here kicking and screamer, infact I was asked three times to move the the HQ and declined it as I hate big cities and hate wearing a jacket and tie even more ( infact with only two years to retire I have given them up now LOL)
But a fourth call after maybe 4 years from the first time I was asked the question was not would i come ot NY but what Day would I be flying in, so I agreed to come for one year, and somehow I love the work I guess as I am still here 15 or more years later,
Fantastic photography, I can understand why it looked like the Iron Building to you. It looked the same to me at first. :)
It is cool and eye catching and has the triangular shape and may not be as famous as the Flatiron but I feel it is up there

It is. Lol! Because I dont have to be anywhere at any certain time, I have just finished enjoying my coffee out on the patio. I now have a backlog of stock work to get on with. Lol! Hope you are having a Happy Monday!
Apart from forgettingit was holiday schedule for the train and just missing one and havein to wait an hour for the next one it has been a good day so far :)
