SEC17 WK:#3 Large and small families,likes or dislikes
Hello friends and family members on this pretentious platform.It’s another exciting wparticipating in this season17 week3 Steemit Enagement challenge. I will share my my experience centered on the question and what it’s really practice in our African society.

In my country Cameroon and African as a whole they is this strong belief by most people that large of families is better than smaller one .Most people think that the strength of a family is measured by giving birth to many children than smaller .Most family see it as a pride to bear more children
Most people that encourage size of family always keep in a confusion .This is most of them do not care about the welfare of their child.You see a lot of children suffering around due to fraustration and the inability for the parents to take care of them.
Thanks to modernization that a lot of things have changed in most African community .The traditional belief most have of giving birth as change .Individual couples is focused now giving birth to children .According to the ability and capacity that one will be able to take of the children depending on the resources.
As for me I prefer smaller size of family than bigger size .I have never been a fan of giving birth to many children .This is because I do it depending on my resources available for me to take care of them with no worries .Notwithstanding if I have a enough means I might go for large family size.
This is because with smaller family you are able to provide, give equal attention to your kids and follow the up to take the right part of life .I do not want a situations where giving birth to many children it will turn to be a burden to me and they suffer.
My opinion of not been a fan of large families is because you are bound at times to be in rush to provides for kids.Even things are not moving financially you see yourself stressing.I grew up in a large family size eventhough , my parents took care of us to see us all successful in life .It was not easy because they past through a lot by sacrificing to make us happy .
Toconclude, The family one needs to have wether large families or smaller one will depend on individual.According to the available resources want have to take care of the children.But, as for me smaller size of families will always be the best to avoid unnecessary drama .Also this make one to have enough time give equal attention to your kids in regards to larger family size. Greetings ma, how was your weekend? Am sure it went well. Truly I can see that you are not a fan of big family because you don't want to stress yourself much when it comes for catering for the kids during bad economic days. You believe you will be on the safer side when things get hard because you only have two kids to cater for.

In my Country here in Nigeria, during the olden days a man's wealth is measured by the number of wives and children he has, but currently reverse is the case because the cost of living is quite high and the only way to survive is to have a small family. I wish you the best in this contest.
You are right that the old tradition is Africans had but am happy we have moved away from that dogma

You said that small family size is the best for you because you don't want unnecessary drama. Though you don't dispute the fact that large family is not good, it is good when you have the resources to carter for large family.
