The Diary Game: [14-05-2024] Tuesday, My niece taking charge of the kitchen duty today

Good evening beautiful parents and kids, I believe you all had a pleasant day, mine was fine anyways. Please kindly permit me to share with you how my day routine went.

Today was all about my little niece of 6 years old, she did not go to school today because she is not feeling well and she's on medication too.

As the rest of the people have left to school it was now remaining me and her with the mother who is a nursing mother remaining at home, this made her so happy. So she was now in charge of everything especially the kitchen aspect.

It was time for her to take breakfast and it was pap she wanted taking for breakfast she and the mother and she decided to prepare that herself while I stood by to supervise the process.

So let's move down to the steps she used in preparing the pap.

She removed the pap from the fridge and put it into the plate and smashed it with water and sugar.

While she was mixing the pap, I have already boil water on the fire for the pap.

After mixing the pap, the water on fire has done and I helped her carry the kettle down from the fire and pour it into the pap while she keep turning the pap till it was done.

After it was done, she now divided it into two, putting her mother's own in a different plate, she put the left over moi-moi we had in the fridge foe her mother and took it to her room.

She now came and prepared her own pap well, she used bread, butter and Milo to enjoy herself.

She took her own portion of breakfast to the sitting room and began to eat peacefully, while I made tea for myself since I don't take pap.

After eating her breakfast it was time for her to take her medicine, my little niece was not happy that time again, but she doesn't have a choice she must take the medicine.

She took the plate to the kitchen and washed it off, because she knows I don't want anyone piling up dirty plate.

After that she rested a little so that the food and the drugs will settle in her body well. I was to washed their clothes, so she decided to join me in the washing.

After washing and spraying the clothes on the lines, I bath her and made her sleep a little. She didn't sleep for long but at least that little one has done a great deal in her body.

As she woke up, she complained of hunger and we went to the kitchen to make lunch for her, it was garri and soup, the soup was from the fridge, I warmed it and use hot water to prepare the garri.

I made the food plenty so that I can join her in eating at once.

Later in the evening, my elder sister wanted to prepare moi-moi, since the beans flour is already in the house it doesn't stress us in preparing the moi-moi.

I boil egg on fire since it's eggs we are going to put in the moi-moi. While the egg was on fire, my elder sister has mixed the beans flour together with, pepper, onions, crayfish and corn beef.

After mixing everything she started tying the moi-moi in a nylon bag, then put them all in the pot of hot water that was boiling on fire.

As the moi-moi was on fire, I went the the supermarket close to the house to buy a cartoon of biscuits for my junior girl, 15th May is her birthday, so she wants to carry biscuits to her school to share among her classmates so she is not celebrating it in a big way.

As we got there she made the choice of the biscuit she wants, then we walk to the cash point unit to make payments.

After making payment we took the goods away home, as we got home the moi-moi has done and I removed one to used in drinking garri for dinner.

After everything I freshened up and lay down on the bed since I didn't have any battery on my phone to come online and make the post.
