Steemit Engagement Challenge|| I take care of my planet and you?|| by @ebunoluwani
Greetings Everyone.
No doubt this week has been the most engaging week in the history of my life in Steemit. Contest is drawing traffic here and there and I love challenges, which is why I am still on this ride with every other person. I wish us all good luck in this drive. @colombiaoriginal has setup this contest which is aimed at enlightening us on “Earth” and how we can take care of it to make it more habitable for us as humans.
Earth 🌐
Earth is what I refer to as “our human home”. Of all the six planets, (which was seven before Pluto vanished) Earth is the only planet that supports life. Earth inhabits all forms of life, plants, animals, and humans. Earth also hosts substance such as air, fire, water and soil. The Earth is powered by sun which is the source of solar system.
How do I take care of Earth?
- By maximizing the usage of clean water. Both rain and well water were channeled in a way which will preserve and prevent it from wastage. Rainwater was channeled into a huge bowl. While the was channeled through pipe into the house.
- By caring for humanity. I take care of the Earth by caring for humanity. I belong to a club known as the Leo Club international a youth branch of LIONS club international. I am under the jurisdiction of District 404B2 Nigeria. We serve for the betterment of our community and country.
- We usually store plastic bottles of beverages and sell them out to companies that make us of those plastics. By doing that, it will easy for those plastics to be recycled.
What are the other ways we can use to take care of Earth as humans.
- By keeping our environment clean
- Building and maintaining a good drainage system to prevent outbreaks of floods.
- By collecting our waste giving to the waste system Authority. The government authority of oyo state Nigeria has established a body for this purpose known as OYOWMA.
- By fighting against the use of ballistic missiles and nukes.
Importance of taking care of Earth.
- To prevent the destruction of the ozone layer
- To keep Earth as our Home
- To show love to nature
- To prevent the outbreak of flood
- To grow and preserve Earth for coming generations
Taking care of Earth starts with us, with our household, our community, country and our continent. It starts with You And I.

Taking Care of the planet is what we all most do so as to preserve our ecosystem. I'm very happy with the activities you do carry out in other to care for the planet.
