GOD CAN NOT LIE 2

“GOD IS NOT A MAN, THAT HE SHOULD LIE, Nor a son of man, THAT HE SHOULD REPENT. Has He said, AND WILL HE NOT DO? Or HAS He spoken, AND WILL HE NOT MAKE IT GOOD?"
Numbers 23:19 (NKJV)

22 BUT I [Jesus] SAY TO YOU THAT WHOEVER IS ANGRY WITH HIS BROTHER WITHOUT A CAUSE shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother [sister], ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.
23 THEREFORE IF YOU BRING YOUR GIFT TO THE ALTAR, and there remember that your brother [sister] has something against you,
24 LEAVE YOUR GIFT THERE BEFORE THE ALTAR, and go your way. FIRST BE RECONCILED TO YOUR BROTHER [sister], AND THEN COME AND OFFER YOUR GIFT."
Matthew 5:22-24 (NKJV)

• This teaching started from the first part, where we had established some points about God's faithfulness in Giving.

III. For you to experience an harvest, your priorities must be right.
a. If the sole reason for your Giving is that you may receive, and consume it on your own lust, God might not honour the seed:
"YOU ASK [God for something] AND DO NOT RECEIVE IT, BECAUSE YOU ASK WITH WRONG MOTIVES [out of selfishness or with an unrighteous agenda], so that [when you get what you want] YOU MAY SPEND IT ON YOUR [hedonistic] DESIRES" (James 4:3 Amps).
b. God wants to bless you that you might be a Blessing to others:
1 THE Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I WILL MAKE YOU INTO A GREAT NATION. I WILL BLESS YOU AND MAKE YOU FAMOUS, AND YOU WILL BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS" (Genesis 12:1,2 NLT).
THE main purpose of whatever God has blessed you with, is, that you might be a Blessing to others. It is not about money alone, even the gifts you are endowed with, you are to use them to bless others.
USE your gifted to bless the world, and God will reward you bountifully.
IF your motivations in Giving are wrong, you might not experience a bountiful harvest.

IV. Double mindedness will rob you of your harvest:
6 BUT LET HIM ASK IN FAITH [let him or her Give in faith], WITH NO DOUBTING, for the one who DOUBTS is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 7 FOR that person must NOT SUPPOSE THAT HE [she] WILL RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM THE LORD; 8 HE [she] IS A DOUBLE-MINDED MAN [woman], UNSTABLE IN ALL HIS WAYS" (James 1:7,8 ESV).
a. Whatever you give to God as instructed by Him, know that He will not owe you. HE will repay you. Every Giving, given with a right heart, good motives; would be rewarded.
EVEN when you give to the poor who cannot pay you back, the Scripture says, you have lent to God and He will pay you back: "IF YOU HELP THE POOR, YOU ARE LENDING TO THE LORD—and HE WILL REPAY YOU!" (Proverbs 19:17 (NLT).
THUS, do not doubt when you are instructed to give. God is able to repay you.
b. If you think of the past, you will not take a step forward. You may find it difficult to sow or give (Ecclesiastes 11:1-6).
THUS, If you doubted God's ability, you might miss your Blessings.
c. To overcome double mindedness, be versed in the Word of God. Read the books of proven men of God that can stimulate or strengthen your faith and convictions on Giving.

V. Strife with the brethren can hinder your blessings—the harvest of your Giving.
a. Jesus knew a Believer would not receive His best if such allowed Strife between him or her and fellow Believers in Christ (Matthew 5:22-24).
b. If we truly love God, we must look to Him for the ability to love others, our brothers and sisters in Christ—the way He does (1 John 3:15,16).
c. If you allowed discord in your heart, your Giving would be a waste—there would be no harvest (Matthew 5:23,24).
d. Believers who had not allowed God to break them, who were not thoroughly broken, faced the temptation of talking about others, causing strife and divisions in the gathering of the people of God:
16 THESE SIX THINGS THE LORD HATES, YES, SEVEN ARE AN ABOMINATION TO HIM: 17 A PROUD look, A LYING tongue, Hands that shed innocent BLOOD, 18 A heart that devises wicked PLANS, Feet that are swift in running to EVIL, 19 A false witness who speaks LIES, AND ONE WHO SOWS DISCORD AMONG BRETHREN" (Proverbs 6:16-19 (NKJV).

• Some are busybodies in other people's affairs, and God does not want it (2 Thessalonians 3:11,12; 1 Timothy 5:13,14).

VI. The Return of your Giving might not be monetary or physical material things.
a. God may use your Giving to open a door of salvation for any of your loved Ones—like He did for Cornelius (Acts 10:1-6,44-48).
b. God also might use your Giving to open a door for your assignment, connect you with your helpers of destiny. Open the doors of relationship that can change your level.
c. Know that the reason for the delay in receiving back might be God wanted to use your Seed or Giving, to give you what money cannot buy.
SOME people have sown seeds and received a fruit of the womb in Return, like the Shunammite woman (2 Kings 4:8-17). And some have experienced recovery from sicknesses, through Giving.

• Patience is needed if you have done the right thing.

• God has the scheduled which He followed on every individual Believer's matter. There is time for everything under the sun (Ecclesiastes 3:1).
• When it is not the appropriate time, in God's agenda, for what you have sown a SEED for; you might not experience an instant return and would have to exercise more patience.
• God will preserve your seed and use it to release your Blessings at the appropriate time.

• God is not a magician. He is a miracle worker!
(i) Giving is not a means of getting quick financial breakthrough.
(ii) It takes a consistent Giving to experience a consistent flow of Return, increase and bountiful HARVEST. It has a process, the planting and germination process; it is not instantaneous and neither magical!
(iii) You do not give casually and randomly and think to experience a consistent flow of Return or increase.
(iv) Giving should be a well-planned exercise in the life of every Believer in Christ Jesus.

• The important factor in a Believer's life is, the ability to know what God is saying per time. When God prompted you to GIVE, do not hesitate to do.

• Your heaven shall be opened in Jesus' name. And I declare your financial freedom today in the mighty name of Jesus.

• And If you had any ailment in your body, healing power of God is released on you now in Jesus' name.
• You will live in health and abundance all the days of your life, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
