RE: Urdu Community contest / S2W1 || Language. How language connects an individual to his family, globe or specific society?// by @ebunoluwani

Nigerian Pigin was learned on the street and through movies as well. I sabi speak am well. English was a language that I learned from school because it is the language used to teach us in school.

English is from school and Pigin is from the street 😀.. So if I want to learn Pigin, I should go to the street 😀

Language is very important because it helps us to connect with people. Thanks for this great publication.

Hello @msquaretwins

You don't have to be in the street to learn Nigerian pigin. You will learn it unconsciously all over the place, because it has circulated. I said pig in was from the street because that was were it spread out from to the rest of us.

Besides who does not walk on the street or has not had anything to do with street itself?
I'm sure you take transport or go to boutique stores or market, those people will not speak plain English to you. I'm sure there will be at least one of your friends that speaks pig in most times.

I hope say you get the point wey I make about pigin now.

Thanks for reading

I understand you Wella. I no be boti now.. I just found it funny ni ooo
