I do not use my phone much, but soon will be on travel. People have recommended I download appics and use it for posting during this time.
I tried to find appics for android to download it and could not.
If you can give me any step-by-step help to get appics on my phone, I would really appreciate the help!

You need to sign up with your email at appics.com then you will get a link from them... might take few days..
Yes, that is right. Appics even wrote their own tutorial on how to download it on your phone:

I either got an "Error: We got an unexpected error from Steemconnect. Please, try again." or a "502 - Bad Gateway nginx/1.14.0 (Ubuntu)" error message.

It's in the google play store. Search for it there.

You have to go to their site and click on being an early bird.
If they accept you you can download the app via the link given. Once you did that you find it back in your play store.
Perhaps you can do it faster. They are on telegram!
