Let's start off today speaking about fossil fuels.

Here is Wikipedia's belief.

A fossil fuel is a fuel formed by natural processes, such as anaerobic decomposition of buried dead organisms, containing energy originating in ancient photosynthesis.[1] The age of the organisms and their resulting fossil fuels is typically millions of years, and sometimes exceeds 650 million years.[2] Fossil fuels contain high percentages of carbon and include petroleum, coal, and natural gas.[3] Other commonly used derivatives include kerosene and propane. Fossil fuels range from volatile materials with low carbon to hydrogen ratios like methane, to liquids like petroleum, to nonvolatile materials composed of almost pure carbon, like anthracite coal. Methane can be found in hydrocarbon fields either alone, associated with oil, or in the form of methane clathrates.

"I pump and pump all day,
I make the poor sheeple pay,
And the Rich Oil Companies say,
It's going to be higher on the long weekends!"

Is that right, Wikipedia?
Answer me this: if oil is a fossil fuel why are there lakes of it on Titan where it actually rains petroleum?
Are you admitting that Titan had plants and animals walking around and dying just to make oil? Really?
No? Didn't think so!

The myth that petroleum is a "Fossil" fuel was perpetrated by the oil companies a long time ago. Why?
Because, then they could tell us that oil was a scarce commodity and charge us higher and higher prices.
You have heard of DeBeers, right. Same with diamonds, same with oil, same with many commodities.
Scarcity of anything always raises the price in our capitalist society! The oil companies advertise fear, fear of scarcity, which is one of our innate, intrinsic fears. Scarcity of food, of mates is a big driving factor for our survival.
Well, I bought into it when I was a kid, over half a century ago. It was what I was taught about oil formation.
Even most geologists are still taught this myth!

You see, oil is made up of three of the most abundant elements in the universe. Hydrogen, Carbon, and Oxygen.
Animals and plants had nothing to do with the formation of oil and all of its related components.
It is a chemical process that happens within the Earth on an ongoing cycle. As long as there are these three elements are within the Earth oil will continue to be created.
Oil well depth these days can go over 25,000 feet deep, whereas, the fossil depth of the Earth extends down to about 16,000 feet. The extinction of the "dinosaurs" was about 65,000,000 years ago. Wikipedia also states that coal came from the Carboniferous period over 300 million years ago when plants started growing on the surface. Really?

It too is a hydrocarbon fuel.
There will be oil forming within the Earth (Blessed be Mother) for thousands of lifetimes to come.

Unfortunately, this myth continues to persist.
