I love that the shape of the design reminded you of colours from your childhood, I remember my teacher saying a similar thing. I like the addition of bright orange and blue, they stand out while at the same time highlighting the other shapes and colours around them. The two halves of colour in the background are a nice touch and the graffiti style paint splatter adds a nice effect too!
