No cuisine would be complete without the tempura. Prawn tempura is one of my absolute favorite foods from Japanese cuisine. The soft but crunchy tempura flakes are a wondrous recipe which go so well with just about anything.
Being a prawn lover, the tempura really does become the icing on the cake. Served with some light fashion sauce, tempura goes excellently with something like cold soba noodles. Especially on a hot summer day.
