New updates coming for Yensesa upvoting service and how it will affect existing stakeholders starting 02/08/18

in #yensesa6 years ago (edited)

Yensesa upvoting service on Steemit is one of the value packed services Yensesa is offering to it's stakeholders.

When we started the service @yensesa's SP was around 9,800+ in delegations. We have since then improved the upvote service our SP has more than doubled. We currently have a little over 23K in SP.

New changes

  • YENT holders looking to take advantage of the service will have to stake their tokens for either 30 days, 90 days, 180 days or 360 days to get an upvote. With the minimum days you can stake being 30 days.
  • The longer you stake the less fees you will pay to get an upvote from the community account. You can find the fees structure below. This fees taken will go back into powering up more SP.
  • At the end of the staking period your NEW TOKENS are returned to your Yensesa account and you can stake again if you wish to. NEW TOKENS = STAKED TOKENS - FESS
  • You can also unstake anytime after the first 30days. e.g If you unstake on the 89th day you still pay the fees for the 30 days duration. If you unstake on the 90th day you pay the fee for the 90th duration.
  • Every 1% upvote will be 100 YENT. For a 100% Upvote you will need to stake 10,000 YENT.

Fees Structure

Lets say you staked 5,000 YENT for a 100% upvote with a duration of 360 days. At the end of the 360 days you will only pay a 1% fee on the 5,000 YENT staked. This means after the 360 days we will return 4,950 YENT to your Yensesa account.

How does this affect current stakeholders

  • Current stakeholders for the upvote service will continue to enjoy the service until the first 30days period is up, which is starting on 02/08/18.
  • At the end of the 30 days, your tokens will be returned to you and you will have to stake directly from the Yensesa website, instead of sending it to Yensesa's bts address (yensesa-local).
  • If you decide to stake again, the new terms will now apply to you.

What will happen if the SP keeps growing

  • Our next milestone is 30K SP, once we get to 30K SP we will update the terms, the only thing that will change will be how much YENT you will need to stake in order to get a percentage upvotes.
  • Our fees will never change going forward.
  • TOS updates will not affect users that have already staked until their staking period is over.

Updates

For our next round we will be setting a 100% upvote to 5000 tokens, half of what is stated above.

Is there a way to buy YENT without having to delegate SP?

Yes @ronaldoavelino you can buy them with SBD/STEEM/BTC/BTS. Current rate is 1 SBD = 5 YENT.

you can also get it on the bitshares exchange by downloading the wallet client

I don't see it on open ledger.

I was wondering if you could buy it on bitshares dex but I dont see it.

I think you men't 08/08/18 typo, so on 08/08/18 you send my 1,000 staked tokens back, then I restake them at Yensesa.com for a 10% upvote.
Does leaving the delegation in place increase the token amount after that?

@tbnfl4sun, yes the date will be different for everyone, depending on when you started staking. The first group was on 02/08/18. So if your staking started on 08/08/18, then we will return it to you on that day. Once your tokens are returned to you, you will follow the new rules listed in this post when staking again.

Also at the end of this month all delegators will get tokens for your delegation.

Ok thank's!

You did not answer what happens after you stake your tokens again. Must I keep the delegation? May I increase the delegation? If yes, will I receive new tokens? May I stake these new tokens?

@ronaldoavelino , thanks for your question. If you stake your YENT again you get upvotes using the new terms outlined in the post. If you increase your delegation you will get new tokens at a rate of 1 delegated SP = 1 YENT (this is because the promo period is over). Also as long as your delegation is still with Yensesa you will get monthly tokens for that at the same rate of 1DSP = 1 YENT

Does it mean i still get additional tokens even if i decide not to stake or touch my existing tokens?

If you have your delegation with us then Yes.

great work. keep it moving.. Resteemed

Thanks for making things simple. Everyday with new ideas.

thank you to yensesa grp for making this easy on us.....
