We definitely need less coins. There have been a ton of cryptonight coins coming out. One, for example, is Triton on a "light" algo. It doesn't even have a site. The speed at which it mines compared to its value doesn't even seem worth it. Lines is another questionable cryponite coin. It mines fast, is worth next to nothing and had a really stripped down website. Lines also had no stated objectives or uses. Bitcoi is an odd one too.
