Padmavat movie- The most expensive Indian film ever!!!

Talking about the most controversial and expensive movie- Padmavat! It is Indian epic period drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali release this year in January.

It was intended to be release last year in December, but due to many controversies and protest against the movie made it delayed. As it is based on a community in India but without watching the film people were protesting, which I believe was waste for sure and moreover gave the movie free of cost promotion too, as many people out there were excited to watch it and know the reason behind so much of protest, which for sure turn out to be in vain.

Having a huge budget of around 31 million dollars, this movie despite not being released in some states of India, it grossed over ₹5.85 billion (US$85 million) at the box office. The plot of the movie was loosely based on true events as Alauddin Khilji being a strong and desirous of all exceptional things was a Muslim ruler who was pitched by a cunning priest about the unbelievable beauty of queen Padmavati of Mevar. King Ratan Singh was indulged in a fight with Khilji in order to save his queen but in a betrayal he was killed on the field but even after conquering the ford the desire of Khilji wasn't fulfilled as the queen Padmavati attempted Juhar(A group suicide) with all the ladies of Mevar in order to save their dignity.

Despite of amazing story, actors and characters the film execution was not up to the mark, being too lengthy it turned out to be a bit boring at certain times, moreover the excessive praise of Hindu King and excessive evilness of Muslim king was a little not digestible. I would love to praise the actors, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh as they performed their characters with justification.

Specially I loved the character of Khilji played by Ranveer Singh, He deserves as many praises as possible. his work was incredible, moreover the way he danced, spoke, and acted showed its hard work behind it.
