The Lightning Round Write-Up is a daily writing challenge that uses the Merriam-Webster word of the day. Here is my submission for the 13th of February, 2020 #ninetyninewords story.

GUSTATORY

"Close your eyes."

His low whisper sent shivers up her arms as the breath of his words tickled her neck.

"What are you up to?" she murmured with a grin, closing her eyes as she enjoyed the heat of him behind her.

His warm lips suckled her shoulder trailing kisses to her neck; she felt the thrill of excitement as he tied a silk scarf over her eyes. He moved slowly, sensuously, putting the rest of her senses on high alert.

One by one, with little bites, he tempted her with gustatory desserts of fruits, chocolates and deep kisses.
