Ohhh this is such a sweet story. The way Ashuri's eyes react is such a lovely element, the actual magic flowing between them <3 it really just adds to that feeling of connection. You paint it with such a perfect sense of innocent curiosity, and the way you switched between the two perspectives is like a mirror to their tender sensitivity towards each other. The scene you chose to play out between them is so very endearing, passion filled with acceptance and understanding.

The last paragraph is just such beautiful descriptions, you close on this clear image of the beach, and the language is just so wonderful here.

the wide beach-front forest charming the air with the choir of the forest critters and tree branches swayed by the whistling winds. As the moon slowly danced its way across the sky

It's just the perfect way to tie up this moment of love and respite between adventures, ready for the next day, and next one, to begin.

Woo yeah sex positivism! And awesome TedTalk! :p And totally agree, decriminalising allows for safety, right now, its the workers who are getting hurt because it's illegal, often making bad situations even worse. But equally very much need other viable options for people who really wish that wasn't their life.

That’s such a beautifully concise yet complex way to explain what had happened here down to one metonymy of each significant scene. Indeed, innocent they are and still have to learn the tools of the trade here - so they shall be hugging the shores for some bit.

The staple of the Ashley-n-Saddie stories, a good thing to end stories with anyways. (That one was probably one of my favorite ending paras in a long while for terms of style and substance.)

Agreed.
