Loner

I love the word loner. Evokes a certain mysticism in my feelings. Truth of it though is that loner is all too real and not movie novel romanticism. When you are a loner you suffer in an indifferent society. When you walk your own path it can get mad real from flesh to bone. You live inside your head most of the time. Your thoughts play tricks on you. You hallucinate in your own simulacra. You create and destroy in epic proportions like gods and demons in the neverending search for their truth. Such is the loner life. Not a Hollywood fantasy but real life living on the edge of the abyss. Stranger in a strange land even.
