Background of the energy transition in Germany!

The aim of the energy transition should actually be to use wind and solar energy to save fossil fuels and give up atomic energy. After all, the power supply should be completely switched to renewable energy.

The law grants operators of wind and solar power facilities regular payments for around 20 years, but far more than the generation costs. However, now the consumers are having to pay higher electricity prices. The law should prove that the energy transition works.

The prospect of high government payments prompted many plant builders to build green power plants involving banks, landowners, and others who wanted to benefit from the deal. In the meantime, there are a myriad of wind farms and solar facilities, but they are generating only one third of electricity in Germany. However, the half of this green electricity is delivered abroad.
