The tongue lays a bite so hard that it leaves a slit, and through this incision begins to suck all the blood in the tongue. Which makes it devour the entire tongue, and as a result of this exploitation, the tongue decomposes and dies and falls out of the fish mouth.

The process of eating the tongue of the fish does not cause its death, and remains alive even if it is difficult, and when the tongue fades, the fish begins to deal with the fish eating tongue, like her tongue can be said that it has an "artificial" tongue.

والاسم العلمي لهذا النوع من الطفيليات هو

و يستقر مدة حتى يصل لمرحلة البلوغ و يبدا في اكل النسيج الدموي الذي يوجود في الخياشم، بمجرد ان يكتمل النمو ويكبر، واحد منهم يبدا للتحول لأنثى، نعم الذكر يتحول لما يكون مستعد لذلك، ومن تم ينتقل من الخياشم الى الفم الحوتة وبالظبط اللسان ولهذا يطلق عليه اسم "آكل لسان السمك".

الأنثى عندما تستقر وتاخد مكانها، تبدا بغرس ارجلها الخلفيين في اللسان، لكي تضمن الإقامة الدائمة تعض اللسان عضة قاسية لدرجة انها تترك فيه شق، وتبدا من خلال هذا الشق تمص كل الدم الموجود في اللسان، وبما أنها من الطفيليات التي لديها شراهة تجاه الدم، هذا ما يجعلها تلتهم اللسان باكمله، ونتيجة لهذا الاستغلال، اللسان يتحلل و يموت و يسقط من فم السمكة.

عملية أكل لسان السمكة لا تتسبب في موتها، وتبقى حية ولو ذلك صعيب عليها، وعندما يتلاشى اللسان ، تبدا السمكة تتعامل مع آكل لسان السمك وكأنه لسانها يمكن القول انه اصبح لديها لسان "اصطناعي"، .

آكل لسان السمك يستغل جزء كبير من مساحة فم السمكة ، او اكبر من لسانها الطبيعي وهذا ما يجعل عملية الاكل صعبة لكن مع ذلك السمكة لن تموت بل تتقاتل ما امكنها للحصول على الاكل لكن اقل من السابق.

آكل لسان السمك ياكل بشكل اساسي على مخاط السمكة او عضلات اللسان، اذن هناك استقرار و اكل ما الذي ينقص هذا الطفيلي .
ينقصه تزاوج
للأسف، الطفيلي الذكر الذي كان موجود في الخياشيم ينتقل لمكان الطفيلي الأنثى المستقرة باللسان، فيتزاوج معها وكل هذا على مستوى فم السمكة ، بعد هذا الطفيلي الانثى تبدا تلد عدد من الطفيليات الذكور، وبمجرد ما السمكة تقترب من سرب او مجموعة اخرى للأسماك، تبدا في اخراج الطفيليات ليدخلوا في خياشم الاسماك جدد ويكملوا دورة حياتهم المرعبة. غالبا بعد كل هذا الطفيلي اكل مهمته على احسن وجه فيموت وتموت معه السمكة التي لا تتوفر على لسان طبيعي و لا لسان اصطناعي.
