Other countries high in Happy Index are Nicaragua or Colombia. Not much of most developed countries.
I believe high levels of happiness and satisfaction are strictly related with solidarity and human interactions. It's much easier for that in the countries with difficult economical situation where helping others and relying on help of others is crucial to survive. That makes our relationships deeper.
Europe or US are the cultures of individuals. Wealth is protected by privacy. We all have friends, but keeping them on distance, often no knowing own neighbours and not looking on others in the park or on the street in the name of protecting someone's privacy.
It's complicated theme which is worth to write much more about it. Not too much space on the comment section. The clue is that wealth doesn't guarantee happiness. Support, belonging to the community, feeling important for someone - that's thousand times more important (well, at least in my opinion)
Great post, thanks for that!
@papi.mati yes I agree with you, if we have a lot of money even if we are considered rich, but our hearts always have selfishness, envy and never share, never seeing people below then happiness will not always come
therefore even though we have little money or whatever we must still share with each other, because by sharing we will always see happiness
thank you for the positive comment🙏🙏
