A Review about blink-182's Adam's Song
This song is called "Adam's Song", it is one of the "Blink-182" songs from their album "Enema of the state" and it was recorded in 1999 and released in 2000. the song was written by Tom DeLonge (Guitarist/Vocalist) and Mark Hoppus (Bassist/Vocalist). the song is about people in situations like Suicide or under pressure and feeling depressed and lonely. first, this song was composed by Hoppus and later the band worked on the whole project. The producer of this song is Jerry Finn.
As Hoppus also mentioned he was influenced by the loneliness he had for a while which they were on tour and he was single. also, he had read a suicide note written by a teenager which he found in a magazine. the song is in a way that you feel as if it is a suicide note written by a young kid who talks about his situation and feelings and he/she has a message to people he/she knows. the song was planned to be written to help young kids find hope.
