Cebu Writers' Guild: Fourth Meet Up and Community Health Check

One of the most tangible successes of Steemit is the formation and growth of communities. Both online and offline, local and international, communities have been a major force that drives the mechanism of Steemit.

Hello Steemians!

We have to be honest that almost everyone seems to be on hiatus. It might be partly because of low STEEM and SBD values as compared last December and January, but I think the major reason is due to the start of classes. This is inevitable since we have to prioritize and I completely understand. But I missed everyone! So, let's have our fourth meet up!

I started CWG (Cebu Writers' Guild) as a social experiment and through it, new friendships were forged. For everyone's information, we are still in contact with the members, albeit it's more online than offline. We check on how everyone's day went and some of the student members asked their seniors regarding their assignments or projects. This is the beauty of having a community. Even if it's so quiet in the Steemit platform, it's a different scene in Discord or Facebook Messenger.

This time, I am inviting every steemian in Cebu! Let's have a community health check! Let's have an assessment as to how far we have become, as well as rekindle the friendships that started in the previous meet ups.

This is different from the previous sessions because we won't have a certain topic to discuss. It will just be a pure community health check as well as checking on everyone's status on Steemit.

This meet up is not limited to CWG members only. Every steemian in Cebu is invited and encouraged to come. Let's just hang out and enjoy everyone's company.

Also, we don't have to prepare anything. Let's just go back to the basics. Let's just go low key without sacrificing the interaction between every Cebuano steemian.

Wait, before I forget, @jassennessaj contacted me on Messenger that he will support the meet up by sending an amount to shoulder some of the snacks! There you have it guys! Snacks will be provided by our very supportive Cebuano community leader. I will also contact @themanualbot about this. He might have some ways of supporting this meet up.

You might be wondering why the announcement seems to be a little bit late. That's because I was hesitant to announce about the planned meet up at first. But @jassennessaj convinced me to just formalize everything.

So, it will be this Sunday afternoon, guys! Please reserve the date. You don't have to stay in the whole afternoon. If you have a prior commitment, you can just ping me that you will come later in the afternoon or you can come early and just leave earlier than everyone. Since this is just pure hang out, no restrictions are put in everyone when it comes to time. Just be there in the afternoon. Your presence is more than enough to confirm the success of this event.

I will be at the venue the whole afternoon until early evening. You don't have to worry.

It's the most convenient location for me. Remember that the first session was held at Degree 9 which is just within the vicinity. If you have a better location that you can suggest, please don't hesitate to comment below or contact me about it.

We won't have a specific place to stay in the mall, but for everyone's convenience, let's just meet at the mall entrance near McDo or Jollibee.

Take note that the same with my first announcement, I will still be at the venue even if no one will come. If no one will come, I guess I will just indulge myself with the snacks sponsored by @jassennessaj. If no one will come, the goal is still attained since this is still a community health check.
