Cake is a nice treat just once a year. But those icing flowers sure do look sugary sweet. It'll probable ruin the teeth if we don't brush our teeth right afterwards. I'm glad you got a cake on your special day. I know you usually don't buy a cake, but it was a special occasion.
Me and my father shares the same Month for our birthdays so we celebrate ours in between our birthday dates usually on the weekends so that my siblings and their families can celebrate it together.
I bought a small cake that day, a red velvet cake because I was curious how it tastes like and it tastes better than this one, a mocha cake.
I might buy again on my parent's wedding anniversary because according to my mother, people in their age must celebrate every single special occasion and I agreed to that.
My mother still prepares a special food (plus a sweet personal greeting from her) for us to celebrate with like a Spaghetti on my birthday day, so I will miss that if she will be no longer around.
