How to Build a Farmhouse Style Kids Bed:
It was time to move my son out of his crib and into a regular bed, so I decided to build it. The project was built entirely with Douglass Fir. I used a non-toxic white paint that I applied and then wiped off with a rag to get the white washed look. The bed rail mounting hardware can be found on Amazon or at rockler.com
Hopefully this video gives you an idea of how you could go about building a bed yourself in the future.
