WhiteIsWhite - Animals - SQUIRREL
At the house, I have a dozen or so feeding stations for birds.
Hanging feeders, trays, thistle sock, Suet cages, etc.
So, occasionally, a seed falls (OK, more than once in a while... like ALL THE TIME!)
When the FEED hits the ground, sometimes a I get a NON bird visitor.
... Like my friend Squirrel, here.

Is my memory failing me, or is there some sort of Sign or Poster at Stanley Park about Squirrels?
Not that I've seen, though I do remember a sign about raccoons and rabies a few years ago; that might have mentioned squirrels too, but not sure. I haven't seen any rabid animals in Stanley Park, so all is good ;)
I think there might have been "do not feed the ????" signs years ago too. There are a bunch of informative signs about all the wildlife and nature, so that could have been it too :)

As I remember, it was about a couple who brought 12 pairs of (Red ?) Squirrel from Europe to Vancouver where there were NONE and now they have completely infested the area!
Yes, there is a sign somewhere about that, can't remember where though :) It must have been the Eastern Grey Squirrel as we don't have any Red squirrels here :) Our native squirrel is the Douglas Squirrel, the cutest little things!
